Endometriosis is an inflammatory disease
Endometriosis is a gynaecological condition wherein the endometrium, or the tissue lining the uterus, builds up inside and outside of the uterus during a woman’s menstrual cycle. The tissue outside the pelvis, rather than shedding, bleeds inside the pelvis, leading to inflammation and other damage to surrounding tissues.
What we now know is that some forms of Endometriosis are made worse by high levels of histamine that are not broken down, due to lack of enzymes, overloaded liver and leaky gut recirculation. The appropriate treatment involves reducing inflammation by addressing histamine clearance, liver detoxification, oestrogen overload detoxification and increasing progesterone.
Things to do to help Endometriosis:
Avoid Gluten and Dairy
Do an Allergy Protocol with a Practitioner to reduce Histamine
Take Vitex, Turmeric, Fish oil, Zinc and Selenium
Eat 6- 8handfuls of vegetables a day
Drink 2 litres of water a day.
