Improve Your Overall Health
Your dental health can have a significant impact on your overall health. Oral disease can contribute to diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and Alzheimer’s, just to name a few. Advanced gum disease can raise your risk of a fatal heart attack up to 10 times.
Steps to improve Oral Health
- Stop using antibacterial mouthwashes and rinses.
- Take nutrients that support gum and oral health. Two important ones are vitamin C and coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10). Bleeding gums is often a sign of CoQ10 deficiency.
- Replace fluoridated toothpaste and water. Fluoride is an endocrine disruptor that can affect your bones, brain, thyroid gland, pineal gland and even your blood sugar levels. At least 34 human studies and 100 animal studies have also linked fluoride to brain damage, including lower IQ in children.
- If you have more than 8 Amalgams, have them removed. Amalgams have been linked to fatigue, memory loss, tremors, problems with motor coordination, inability to concentrate, migraines, mood swings, anxiety and autoimmune problems.
- Use coconut oil to swish around your mouth for 10 minutes a day.
- Taking a probiotic does not improve oral health, so you need to stop killing the resident good bacteria with pesticides, such as alcohol based mouthwashes, fluoridated toothpastes and antibacterial and antifungal herbs.
