Tips for better digestion
Always eat in a relaxed quiet atmosphere. Avoid working, reading or watching the television while eating.
Always sit to eat and have your meals at the same time each day.
Don’t eat to fast or too slow. Eat only to 3/4 of your capacity.
Avoid eating again until your previous meal has been digested.
Milk is okay to drink while eating bread, cereals or sweet tasting foods
Yogurt, cheese, cottage cheese, cultured butter-milk should be avoided at night
Avoid ice cold foods as they interfere with digestion
It is best not to cook with honey
Take the time to sit quietly for 5 to 10 minutes after eating and then take a 10-15 minute walk to help the digestive process before returning back to activity.
