While genetics gives you the plans to build the building, 70% of all heart conditions are related to insulin resistance. 30% of Caucasians, 50% of Asians and 100% of dark skinned populations are affected by insulin    resistance.  This is as a result of a western diet and they are all getting cancer and heart disease.

Strategies for people with heart disease:

 

  • Quit smoking and drugs (prescription or recreational) and drink less alcohol
  • Fast for at least 12 hours a day and avoid processed food and grains.
  • Eat good fats, 6 handfuls of vegetable a day, 1 piece of fruit and a palm size portion of protein with each meal.
  • Exercise daily
  • 7-8 hours’ sleep a night
